Variety of Images
It may sound like a simple tip, and it can often be considered too much of an expense - Tip 3 is to include a variety of image styles on your product listings.
When a potential customer has clicked through to your product, we want to keep them on the listing for as long as possible. The longer they are on the listing, the more information we can provide about the product through the images and can hopefully influence a sale.
Different image styles can tell us something different about the product, and a variety is much more visually appealing. Consider using 'lifestyle' photos to show your product in a real life context, 'creative' images to show your product in a more commercialised environment and 'infographics' to share specific details, to support your main white background listing photo and packshots.
And it doesn't have to be expensive... Keep an eye out for photographers who offer Amazing and E-Commerce specific packages.
